How does BotulinumToxin work?

-Acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that controls muscle movement. When muscles are used over time can result in fine lines &   wrinkles.

-Botulinum Toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) blocks Acetylcholine release temporarily weakening muscle movement resulting in softer   lines and wrinkles.
-Over time Botulinum Toxin will be gradually eliminated from the body and muscle activity will be returned to normal.

What areas can be treated?

The typical areas of treatment are:

1) Between the eyebrows (glabellar)
2) Crows feet or laughter lines around the eyes
3) The forehead

The cost of one area is £140, two areas is £200, three areas £250.

Hyperhidrosis treatment for sweating under the arms:

£380

Don’t suffer with embarrassing sweat patches any longer, we see this issue frequently and treatment is generally very successful.

Massetters Treatment:

£200

A popular area for wrinkle reducing injections in the lower face is treatment of the masseter muscles, to slim-down the facial shape or width of the jaw.
This treatment can also be useful in prevention of bruxism, or tooth-grinding (by reducing the activity of the “chewing” muscles).

Gummy Smile Treatment:

£160

Some patients feel that when they smile they show too much of their gums. This is sometimes referred to as a “Gummy Smile”. It may be caused by hyper-elevation of the muscles in the top lip, in which case, relaxing those muscles softens the elevation and lowers the top lip to conceal more of the gums.
